the-green-heart is proud to present the poems of our first annual writers competition. We received forty-three wonderful poems and thank all of the poets and writers who submitted poems from their heart.
Our special "thank you" goes to Dr. Kate Gale for all her help and for acting as our final judge for the grand prize. Also a big "thank you" to Red Hen Press for their support.
The choice was not easy because all the poems we received were wonderful and we are excited to add them to our “what is in your heart?” collection.
