On November 14 the-green-heart visited a fundraiser in Bad Dieburg, Germany. The fundraiser was held for the German Stroke Association.
Liz Mohn / Bertelsmann AG - photo with Petra Eiko - is the president and founder of the German Stoke Association. With undiminished stamina she successfully supports this organization since 1993 with the goal to help more and more people that struggle through such a devastating time in their life and raise awareness for this particular illness.
the-green-heart was at the benefit gala to share and help this wonderful organization. Eiko's book Heart became a beautiful, meaningful gift for the 120 guests. A gallery of Petra Eiko's paintings guided guests from the red carpet to the cocktail lounge and to the ballroom.
The charity night was initiated by Marcus Belte/Belte AG and fashion designer Christina Duxa. Verona Pooth hosted through the evening and stars from music (Angelika Milster) and television (Alexandra Kamp) were in attendance.
Eiko's painting was donated for a special re-convalescent-clinic for children that suffered a stroke.
