the-green-heart was invited by the Duarte Kiwanis Club to bring the-green-heart project into Duarte High Schools.
We started the project in Fall 2013 at Mount Olive High School. The project was run by the art class and students had a warm welcome for the-green-heart. Excited to take the project into their community they selected ambassadors to go on a field trip to include the kindergarten kids at a nearby school. These students had so much fun experiencing how to present the project and later created a kids corner on their wall.
